We're contemplating putting together a day for landlords to cover the whole aspect of running a tenancy.
This includes how to find tenants, how to create the tenancy agreement, and what should go in the agreement. We'll be covering what happens when a tenant does not pay, what your legal rights are and what you can do to evict them. We'll cover Section 21's, Section 8's and when to get them signed. We'll cover the tenancy deposit scheme and show you how that works and what you need to do.
We include how to market your property to its best potential how to get a website and what should go on it, including WHY you should have one in the first place!
We'll be covering how to raise rents, how to negotiate rents, and how to get tenants to stay longer.
Needless to say, its action packed !
This will be an all day event starting at 10am, fininshing at 4pm and lunch is included, price will be £75 all in.
If enough people want this, then we'll put this on, firstly in Leeds, and then further down south towards London

| Facebook and Social Networking |
 Facebook seems to be where everyone is these days, and as a business tool, its invaluable for keeping in touch with whats going on.
There's discounts to be had too !! Just recently I've been invited to some fairly major events, where the ticket price was £125, only to get it free of charge through one of my contacts on facebook.
Not only that, but you can upload videos, links, ask people for comments on something, keep uptodate with friends and family, all in one simple place.
Rightmove even have a 'Widget' on Facebook which means you can search for Property right from Facebook itself. Very Clever.
We've also closed Furniture Packages, new Lettings Agency Franchisees and landlords from Facebook.
So are you on the site ?? If not why not? It could be a small bit of trepidation with this 'new fangled' technology, but the benefits are enormous once you build up your friends list.
329 friends. Apparantly thats what I have. Only ever met a handful of course, but they then recommend me to their friends and so on and we contact each other, keep in touch, respond to links and the like.
